The Meta Glasses are constantly being updated and the latest features don’t disappoint. If you’re curious to learn more about the Meta Glasses, check out my previous blog. Here are some of the newest features to help you maximize your Meta Glasses.
Hands-Free Control
Meta Glasses can be controlled without using your hands, but your voice. This feature is great for multitasking, which is a teacher's daily life. Whether you're doing a science experiment, writing lesson plans, or speaking with students, hands-free control helps you interact smoothly with easily available information.
Speak Actions with "Hey Meta"
Simply say, “Hey Meta” to ask for information or perform tasks such as calling, texting or sharing. Just by talking, you can do tasks without touching anything. For example, students can say, "Hey Meta, how many cups are in a gallon," or “play song” or “what time is it.” One of my favorite voice commands is “take a picture” or “take a video.”
Set Timers Hands-Free
Managing time is important, whether for lessons or classroom lecture. With Meta Glasses, you can set timers just by speaking. Saying, "Hey Meta, set a timer for 30 minutes," helps teachers track lesson times and helps students stay focused during projects.

Ask Meta AI About What You See
A new feature of Meta Glasses is asking Meta AI questions about what you see. For example, you can look at a plant and ask, "Hey Meta, what's this plant?" The AI will give you detailed information about it. This instant access to information encourages curiosity and helps you learn more about the classroom content.
