BLVRD Features (ART, AR)
Experience augmented reality artwork from museums and cultural institutions from around the world using the BLVRD Features app. The app places these iconic paintings, drawings, and more on your ground or walls. The audio content was gathered from curators, educators, and conservators who knew the artwork best. Hear about the visual and creative process for each piece.
Explore the artwork by opening the objects and learning more about history. View from a distance or get a close view of the artwork, appreciating the incredible beauty of the pieces. There are 3 AR episodes currently available: NPG, London | Wadsworth Atheneum | MFA, Boston. The app has continued to add new content in the past three years and includes a full transcript for each episode. Bring the museums to your students this season within the comfort of your classrooms.
