Many of you know that I am a big fan of immersive meeting spaces available on the web (WebXR). I shared the Spatial XR tool last year for the 31 Days of ARVRinEDU and to be honest, it's one of my favorite virtual meeting spaces because of the incredible features they offer. Since sharing Spatial XR last year, the company has been busy adding new features. I've listed a few of my favorites below.
New Environments and Homepage Update
The homepage has had a significant facelift. Create a space or view other available or live spaces to join. You may see a new space of interest, like jumping into a flight simulator, or view the perfect environment to host your next student club meeting.
Sketchfab Spatial Integration
The Sketchfab integration now makes finding 3D assets for your immersive projects much easier. Access the entire Sketchfab library!
Spatial Creator Toolkit
Build amazing 3D spaces, games, and experiences on Spatial. Powered by Unity, the Creator Toolkit is a set of features that will empower you to turn your ideas into reality.
Sharing
I love how easy it is to invite others to join the room. Spatial now allows the option to invite students into your virtual space without having a Spatial account. The teacher can share an invite link to either join and/or edit the space.
